How do you ensure the cleanliness of the space? At Transitions, cleanliness and sterility are our top priorities. We follow strict sanitation protocols, including thorough cleaning and disinfection of all equipment and facilities after each use. We use medical-grade cleaning products and maintain a rigorous schedule to provide a safe and hygienic environment for our clients. Any services that use water such as floating or the cold plunge are filtered through a three step filtration process, 24/7. These three steps include the utilization of a UV-filter combined with Ozone and H2O2. Lastly, the water is constantly checked & tested throughout the day and in-between appointments by our detail-oriented staff to ensure its cleanliness.

Can I combine different services in one visit?Yes, absolutely! We encourage you to customize your wellness experience by combining different services in one visit. Our customers love to pair flaoting with an infrared sauna & cold plunge session, or even use the vibroacoustic bed if there happens to be extra time in-between appointments. Just check our availability!

What do I need to bring? What do I wear?We provide all the essentials for whatever service you choose. For water-related services you can choose to bring a bathing suit or go nude. Most sensory deprivation sessions are done nude, and most cold plunge sessions are done in a bathing suit. With your own private suite, you can choose whichever option feels most comfortable for you. Provided: towel, shampoo, conditioner, soap, ear plugs, body lotion, combs, Vaseline, and a blow dryer.

So, what is Floating? You float like a cork in 10 inches of water with 1,000 lbs of medical grade Epsom Salt (Magnesium Sulfate). The air and water are the same temperature as your skin, which allows your body to absorb a large amount of Magnesium. The water is zero gravity, so you won't feel a difference between the water and air after some time. You can be in complete darkness (if you choose, there is a light in the pods), and you won't hear anything unless you opt for music. You are in an environment where you can fully relax every single muscle in your body, and your mind has a chance to be removed from everything in the world (work, kids, electronic devices, etc). We call it the "ultimate reset button."
-
How do you clean the water in the Float Pods?We filter the water before and after every float, and we replenish it! As it is more dense than the Dead Sea, the solution itself is completely sterile, so no living organism can survive in it. The filtration includes a UV-filter combined with Ozone and H2O2 as necessary for sterilization. Every floater does a pre-float rinse to remove products and oils on the hair and body, so everyone enters the tank as clean as possible. Lastly, we cleanse the water daily with all natural products.

What if I am claustrophobic? Most people who are claustrophobic express little to no fear once they are inside the tank. The environment itself allows you to be relaxed and calm while inside, and floaters report that it feels like they are floating in space or on a cloud. However, if you do feel uncomfortable in any way, you have full control and are able to get out, or crack the door, or leave it completely open at any time.
